Growing resilient disciples for today’s hostile mission environments . . .

The Book of Acts tells a story that is familiar to us—making disciples amid difficult social, cultural and political environments. But Acts also tells stories that are new to some of us—creative and innovative forms of church and leadership, successfully adapting to these different circumstances and seeing the church growing in dramatic ways.
After almost 2000 years of Christian history, we don’t get to start again, but we are called to write our next chapter in the story of following Jesus and making disciples.

“Peter Roennfeldt has experienced what he writes about, as a pastor, evangelist, leader, church planter, trainer, motivator, mentor, public presenter, coach and most importantly a disciple-making disciple of Jesus—and I have personally been blessed as I have been mentored by Peter in the past. I am excited about the potential of this book to challenge, transform and grow our understanding and practice of what it means to be the church of Jesus. It is only through the unity and spiritual power we receive from the Holy Spirit that we can be a multiplying disciple-making movement.”
—Glenn Townend, denominational leader, Sydney, Australia

“This book is valuable for anyone wanting to understand the growth of the Christian movement through the book of Acts. But for those wanting to learn foundational church-planting, movement-building principles to apply in their own lives and ministries, this book is indispensable reading!”
— John North, Ministry Team Leader of Ambassadors for Christ International–Australia

Peter Roennfeldt (DMin) has spent his life sharing the gospel, planting churches, and serving as a pastor to pastors. Having lived in four countries and equipped church planting teams in almost 50, Peter now lives in Melbourne, Australia, with his wife Judy, but travels widely equipping and coaching church planters and pastors.
